Plans and limits
MCP works on the free plan. Plans differ by volume, not by which features you get.
Fixed limits
These three are fixed and will not change without notice.

Current defaults
These are server-side protection values and may change. They exist so abuse can be throttled.

Search results and depth are the same on both plans. Search output is consumed by your own AI app's subscription, so there is no reason to differ here.
How writes are counted
What counts is an actual create, link, tag or session save, over a rolling 24-hour window. Reading never consumes the quota.
Daily write limit reached (50 writes/day on this Clone+ plan). Reads still work — you can keep searching and reading notes. The limit resets 24 hours after the first write.Messages when something is paused
During an incident the AI receives one of these. Writing can be paused on its own, in which case reading still works.
